Leave the Rest to Us®,” positioning Ramada as a global mid-scale brand that understands and celebrates the individuality of travelers. This new positioning is being communicated through marketing efforts across the globe, helping to increase brand awareness, drive business, and strengthen guests’ perceptions of the Ramada brand. These efforts may include consumer print and online advertising, travel trade programs, cable television, and direct mail, driving business to ramada.com and 1-800-2Ramada. Internally, Ramada Worldwide is in the process of implementing a Global Service Culture training program for all Ramada employees. This six-commitment program helps ensure that guests receive the welcoming service they would
expect from Ramada.

 

Global Sales

Our Global Sales Department acts as an extension of your sales team, working daily to deliver business to your hotel. This large group of over 100 seasoned sales professionals works with all key market segments that have potential to drive room nights to your hotel:

 

Reservations Call Center

Our central reservation centers are working to book reservations at your hotel 24 hours a day, every day of the year. These domestic and international reservation centers are staffed with dedicated, trained professionals who are committed to maximizing revenues for your hotel. Our Group Reservation Sales Department also negotiates, coordinates, and books groups needing 10 rooms or more.

In addition, we work closely with franchisees to help ensure that their hotel’s description, rates, and inventory are accurate and up-to-date in all distribution channels.

Regional Marketing

Ramada's Regional Marketing professionals work with the Ramada Management Associations (RMAs) to help plan and launch regional marketing and advertising efforts. RMAs are groups of hotels in specific regions that pool ideas and resources to communicate their messages to their local and feeder markets through print, online and promotional campaigns. Matching dollars from general marketing funds support RMA campaigns.

To help ensure that on-property advertising and collateral pieces are consistent with national messaging, we have developed Marketramada.com in the U.S. and Marketramada.ca in Canada. These online marketing tools let you and your team develop your own property campaign quickly and easily from strategy to execution.
