What is franchising?
A system of marketing and distributing products or services under which an independent businessperson, the "franchisee", in exchange for a fee, is granted the right to sell the products or services using trademarks and system standards of another person, the "franchisor". There are 2 entities in the franchise, the franchisor and the franchisee. The franchisor licenses the franchisor's system and trademarks for a fee. The franchisee usually pays an initial fee and royalties to use the trademarks and system of the franchisor.
What can a franchise do for me?
A franchise is a functioning and working business model, which in many cases has already gained market recognition for its products or services. It is this working model, market recognition and business assistance that can be valuable to a franchisee.
Is there an initial fee for a Wyndham Hotel Group franchise?
Yes, with a non-refundable application fee. The amount of the initial fee varies between brands.
Are there Royalties?
Yes, the amount of the royalties varies between brands.
Do the Wyndham Hotel Group have properties for sales?
No, we purely franchise and do not own any of our franchises. Therefore, we are never in competition with you!
Can I have a partner in a franchise?
We welcome investor groups.

Yes, "Keys to Success — Building Wealth through hotel Ownership" program.
Will you finance my hotel deal?
No we do not finance hotel deals. However, we do offer Development and minority incentives for qualified applicants for some of our brands.
What kind of training is provided?
Wyndham Hotel Group conducts orientation training for our new franchisees and general managers. Also, the Directors of Business Development offer individual training and mentoring on various components of running the franchise.
